• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Enter, update, and maintain inventory and parts information accurately in SAP and related inventory management systems.
• Label, sort, and store materials in designated locations to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, documentation, and logs for all tools, parts, and supplies.
• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to support continuous improvement of inventory accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and help identify missing, damaged, or misplaced items for follow-up action.
• Follow established safety procedures while handling tools and materials and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with maintenance and warehouse personnel to support tool room and inventory control processes.
Essential Skills
• Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, maintenance, tool room, or data entry roles preferred.
• Hands-on experience working in a maintenance tool room environment is preferred.
• Experience using SAP or other inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate counts and data entry.
• Solid organizational skills to manage and arrange tools, parts, and supplies systematically.
• Basic computer proficiency for entering and updating information in inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs safely and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain an orderly work area.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in inventory control or toolroom operations.
• Familiarity with data entry processes related to parts and inventory information.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the shift.

Work Environment
This position is based in a maintenance tool room and inventory control setting, working closely with tools, parts, and supplies. The role uses SAP and basic computer systems to manage inventory data. The standard schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, providing four ten-hour daytime shifts. Work is performed on your feet for most of the day and involves lifting items up to 30 lbs, organizing shelves and storage areas, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workspace.

This is a Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
