Position Summary Gold Star Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Clerk to join our warehouse operations team in Pendergrass, GA! Are you organized, analytical, and experienced in warehouse inventory management, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and distribution operations ? As an Inventory Control Clerk, you'll play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting efficient warehouse operations, and ensuring products are properly received, stored, tracked, and distributed. This position works closely with the Inventory Control Supervisor, warehouse leadership, receiving teams, and transportation personnel to investigate inventory discrepancies, conduct audits, process product returns, and maintain inventory integrity. Investigate, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies, negative inventory balances, and stock variances in collaboration with the Inventory Control Supervisor. Maintain accurate inventory records through manual documentation and electronic inventory management systems. Monitor and maintain established cycle count schedules, inventory adjustments, and warehouse location accuracy. Research and correct invalid pallet IDs, duplicate pick locations, and inventory location discrepancies. Support inventory reconciliation and assist with identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrink. Generate and review reports related to inventory variances, stock levels, product movement, and inventory adjustments.
