Job Summary The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production environments. This position supports inventory accuracy, material availability, and operational efficiency through inventory transactions, cycle counts, material verification, and coordination with Production, Purchasing, Shipping, and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring inventory integrity and supporting uninterrupted production operations. Essential Job Functions Inventory Control & Accuracy Update and maintain inventory records within inventory management systems. Perform inventory transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, overages, and potential issues. Assist with inventory audits and reconciliation activities. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and adjustments. Support inventory accuracy initiatives and process improvements. Materials & Warehouse Support Verify quantities and condition of incoming materials and inventory items. Assist with proper identification, labeling, and storage of inventory. Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support material flow. Ensure materials are properly staged and available to support production schedules. Monitor material movement throughout warehouse and production areas. Support organization and housekeeping of inventory storage locations. Assist with material transfers and inventory-related transactions as required. Documentation & Administrative Support Maintain inventory documentation and supporting records. Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy. Generate reports related to inventory counts, discrepancies, and material movements.
