Position Type: Field Operations Department: Operations Reports to: Project Manager Location: On-site, as per project requirements, MUST travel Work Schedule: According to project and hiring requirements Employment Type: Fixed Term/Project based Purpose of the Position: The Non-Inventory Receiver oversees, and coordinates activities related to non-inventory items such as project related materials, tools, and equipment. The primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and organization of these resources for both the client and Serviap Logistics. This includes implementing policies, managing workflows, and continuously improving inventory processes. The role also involves coordinating transport, setting up and managing the storage area on site, and providing mentorship and training to team members. Key Responsibilities: · Reception and Inspection: Supervise the reception, inventory, and organization of materials, tools, and equipment. · Flow Management: Oversee the conservation and management of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring optimal application. · Access Control: Manage access to the storage area to ensure security. · Organization and Cleanliness: Set up and maintain a clean and organized storage space. · Operational Tasks: Execute and coordinate operational tasks as directed by management. · Process Improvement: Design and implement methodologies for inventory and process optimization. · Team Training: Provide training and mentorship to general inventory assistants and skilled labor. · Performance Monitoring: Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of inventory processes. · Inventory Control: Receive and inspect materials, manage inventory movements, and update inventory records on an ongoing basis during project deployments. · Collaboration: Work closely with internal and client Purchasing Departments and other areas to ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency. · Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with client safety standards and quality policies, including training team members. · Customer Service: Prioritize customer satisfaction by adhering to internal policies and processes. Required Qualifications: · Education: o High school diploma required. · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. · Experience: o At least one year of experience in inventory management, warehouses, or logistics. · Languages: o Advanced proficiency in English. o Basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus. Skills: · Technical Skills: o Proficiency in Excel and databases for inventory management. o Familiarity with logistics and inventory tools like QR and barcodes. o Strong understanding of occupational safety regulations. · Interpersonal and Leadership Skills: o Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors. o Strong teamwork and coordination abilities. o Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. o Leadership and the ability to train and mentor team members. Performance Indicators: · Work Accuracy: 99% accuracy in assigned tasks. · Timeliness: 100% of tasks completed by deadlines. · Safety: Zero safety incidents. · Communication and Teamwork: Average rating of 4.5/5. · Organization: Maintain at minimum 90% of cleanliness and organization in the workspace. Work Conditions: · Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 LBS · Work in varying environments, both indoor and outdoor, depending on the project.
