Experienced Cannabis Inventory & Fulfillment Specialist Location: The Haze Dispensary Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in licensed cannabis retail or inventory operations Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Cannabis Inventory & Fulfillment Specialist to join our licensed cannabis dispensary in New York State. The ideal candidate has direct experience managing cannabis inventory, processing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and working with cannabis-specific point-of-sale (POS) and inventory tracking systems. We are looking for a dependable professional who understands the operational and regulatory requirements of a licensed cannabis dispensary and can independently manage inventory and fulfillment responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management & Control Maintain accurate records of cannabis inventory, including flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, vaporizers, and other regulated products. Receive, inspect, verify, and accurately record incoming product deliveries. Reconcile physical inventory against POS and applicable state inventory tracking records. Conduct daily inventory checks, cycle counts, and periodic full inventory audits. Identify, investigate, and promptly report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged products. Monitor product quantities, expiration dates, batch information, and inventory turnover. Organize and maintain secure inventory storage areas. Assist management with inventory forecasting, product replenishment, and purchasing recommendations. Follow established procedures for product returns, quarantine, disposal, and inventory adjustments. Order Fulfillment & Processing Accurately pick, verify, and prepare cannabis orders for in-store pickup and other authorized fulfillment channels. Ensure all orders contain the correct products, quantities, and applicable product information. Process incoming orders efficiently through dispensary POS and online ordering platforms. Coordinate with budtenders and management to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Maintain order accuracy and minimize fulfillment errors. Monitor online inventory availability to prevent overselling and stock discrepancies. Properly stage and secure completed orders in accordance with dispensary procedures. Support high-volume order fulfillment during peak business hours. POS Systems & Inventory Technology Operate cannabis retail POS and inventory management systems such as Dutchie, Flowhub, or similar platforms. Maintain accurate product listings, SKUs, barcodes, pricing, and inventory quantities. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical stock and digital records. Assist with product catalog updates, inventory adjustments, and system reconciliation. Generate and review inventory reports for management. Maintain accurate records of product movement throughout the dispensary. Regulatory Compliance & Security Follow all applicable New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) regulations and dispensary operating procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records and support required state tracking and reporting procedures. Ensure products are received, stored, handled, and fulfilled in accordance with applicable cannabis regulations. Follow all security procedures for handling and accessing cannabis inventory. Assist with compliance inspections, inventory audits, and regulatory recordkeeping. Immediately report inventory irregularities, suspected diversion, or compliance concerns to management. Complete all required cannabis compliance and Responsible Workforce Training. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience working in a licensed cannabis dispensary or regulated cannabis inventory environment.
