Inventory Associate

Inventory Associate Join our team and help keep our store running smoothly for pets, pet parents, and fellow team members! We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Associate to manage inventory accuracy and support daily store operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing inventory counts, tracking stock levels, and ensuring products are available when customers need them. What You'll Do Maintain accurate inventory records and enter adjustments into inventory systems Conduct cycle counts and assist with store inventory audits Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged merchandise, and shrink concerns Organize stockrooms and inventory locations to maximize efficiency Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs Support stocking and merchandising activities as needed Follow company safety policies and inventory control procedures Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals Represent our core values: Positive Toward People and Pets, Eager to Learn, Team-Oriented, and Accountable What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems Reliable, accountable, and self-motivated Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Preferred: Previous retail, warehouse, stocking, or inventory experience Experience using inventory management systems Interest in pets and animal care Work Environment Retail store and warehouse setting Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Exposure to pet supplies, live animals, aquatic systems, and animal habitats
