Inventory Associate

What the day looks like Daily priorities will be set by the Inventory Supervisor. Some parts of your day will involve entering information and reviewing inventory records; others will involve counting products, checking deliveries or locating stock for an order. Your work will include: Receive deliveries and compare products against packing slips and purchase records. Enter stock movements, quantities and product information into the inventory system. Complete routine cycle counts and investigate differences between physical and recorded inventory. Label, organize and place products in the correct storage locations. Check inventory availability for customer orders, replenishment and fulfillment requests. Identify damaged, missing, duplicated or incorrectly stored items. Communicate stock updates and discrepancies clearly to inventory and operations colleagues. The person we’re looking for You don’t need one particular personality to succeed here. You may be naturally outgoing or someone who prefers to focus quietly on the task in front of you. What matters is that you communicate when something needs attention, follow through on your work and care about getting the count right. Basic computer, keyboard and numerical skills are important. You should feel comfortable learning inventory software, following written procedures and moving between several tasks without losing track of the details.
