We are seeking an experienced Inventory and Distribution Manager to lead the daily operations of inventory management, receiving, replenishment, and distribution while ensuring departments have the supplies and resources they need to provide safe, high-quality care. This position combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on operational involvement and serves as a key partner to clinical and operational departments throughout the organization. What You'll Do As the Inventory and Distribution Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of central supply, receiving, inventory control, replenishment, and distribution activities across the organization. You will coordinate the movement of supplies from central storage to departmental and point-of-use inventory locations, ensuring routine and urgent supply requests are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. This role is responsible for monitoring shortages, backorders, stockouts, delivery issues, and other supply disruptions while implementing appropriate corrective actions to support uninterrupted operations. You will maintain organized, clean, secure, and efficient storage and receiving areas and ensure approved inventory PAR levels are maintained throughout assigned locations. Responsibilities include overseeing cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, expiration monitoring, inventory adjustments, and the management of excess, obsolete, damaged, recalled, or expired supplies. The Inventory and Distribution Manager maintains accurate receiving, inventory, and distribution records while coordinating product recall activities and required documentation. You will monitor key operational indicators, including inventory accuracy, stockout rates, order fulfillment performance, cycle count completion, and customer service concerns. As a working manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership, training, coaching, scheduling, and work direction for assigned team members. You will support employee development, monitor productivity and attendance, and promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and outstanding customer service. You will collaborate with clinical departments, operational leaders, vendors, and suppliers to identify opportunities for process improvement, product standardization, operational efficiency, inventory optimization, emergency preparedness planning, and technology implementation initiatives. This position regularly performs hands-on inventory, receiving, stocking, counting, picking, and distribution activities as needed to support departmental operations. What You'll Bring You have experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, purchasing, distribution, manufacturing operations, retail inventory management, or a related operational field. You possess leadership experience and have demonstrated the ability to provide work direction, coaching, training, and support to team members in a supervisory, lead, coordinator, or senior-level role. You have strong organizational skills and can effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills while building positive working relationships across clinical, administrative, and support departments. You are proficient with basic computer applications and can learn and utilize inventory management, supply chain, and enterprise resource planning systems effectively.
