Role: Inventory Analyst (SCM)
Years Experience: Intermediate (4-9 yrs)
Contract Duration: 04/13/2026 - 12/31/2027
Work Location: Travel to Northern Saskatchewan and Ontario sites will be required to assist with inventory reviews and stakeholder engagement ( 50/50 split between visiting Cameco Jobsites and hybrid work)
Role Description / Key Responsibilities
This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting strategic initiatives to improve inventory health.
The primary focus will be assisting with the Inventory rationalization process, including verifying inactive materials, identifying duplicates, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure proper categorization and disposition.
Additional responsibilities include performing basic data analysis, preparing reports to support decision-making, and contributing to process improvements within the Materials Management group.
Skills / Previous Experience
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
Basic knowledge of inventory management principles.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Effective collaboration and communication skills.
Nice to have:
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
• Applied Certification (for example: Parts Management Technician)
