Inventory Analyst

Job Description

Role: Inventory Analyst (SCM)
Years Experience: Intermediate (4-9 yrs)
Contract Duration: 04/13/2026 - 12/31/2027
Work Location: ​Travel to Northern Saskatchewan and Ontario sites will be required to assist with inventory reviews and stakeholder engagement​ ( 50/50 split between visiting Cameco Jobsites and hybrid work)

Role Description / Key Responsibilities

​​This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting strategic initiatives to improve inventory health. 

​​The primary focus will be assisting with the Inventory rationalization process, including verifying inactive materials, identifying duplicates, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure proper categorization and disposition. 

​Additional responsibilities include performing basic data analysis, preparing reports to support decision-making, and contributing to process improvements within the Materials Management group. 

Skills / Previous Experience

​​Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify trends.
​Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
​Basic knowledge of inventory management principles.
​Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Effective collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have:

​• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
​• Applied Certification (for example: Parts Management Technician)
