Inventory Analyst

At Ramco you would be part of a close-knit conservative team, working for a technologically advanced manufacturing company, selling metal roofing, and building materials. We are looking to hire an Inventory Analyst whose main focus will be to monitor and update spreadsheets to ensure accurate inventory levels and projections. This is a hands-on position that will have room for growth. Duties & Activities: Maintain accurate inventory records for materials Perform routine inventory cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Enter inventory transactions accurately into the company's ERP or inventory management system. Verify receipts of incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips. Assist in monitoring inventory levels and notify management when stock reaches reorder points. Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely replenishment of inventory. Work closely with production to verify material usage and identify inventory variances. Generate inventory reports and analyze inventory trends. Help identify obsolete, damaged, or slow-moving inventory. Assist with transferring inventory between warehouse locations as needed. Ensure inventory records comply with company policies and procedures. Maintain organized documentation for inventory adjustments and transactions. Support continuous improvement efforts to increase inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency. Skills: Strong understanding of financial management. Strategic planning and vision. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Experience in financial reporting.
