Atlanta Airlines Terminal CompanyJob Title: Inventory Analyst Pay Grade: 5 Salary: $52,704 Department: Procurement Reports to: Procurement Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary: The Inventory Analyst supports the day-to-day administration and coordination of inventory activities across AATC facilities. The position maintains inventory records, monitors stock levels, prepares routine reports, supports cycle counts and inventory verification activities, and coordinates storeroom, attic stock, receiving, distribution, and related operational requirements. The Analyst identifies inventory discrepancies and operational concerns and escalates issues requiring additional review or corrective action. Work Schedule: This position supports a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, 365-day operation. The regular schedule consists of five 8-hour second shifts per week, generally from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, including a 30-minute meal period . Employees must be available to work weekends and holidays based on their assigned schedule. Schedule adjustments and overtime may be required to maintain operational coverage during absences, emergencies, or other business needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains accurate inventory levels and system records to support operational and customer needs. Performs and supports cycle counts, physical inventories, routine inventory verification, and basic discrepancy follow-up to support inventory accuracy and accountability, Reviews inventory levels and usage reports to identify shortages, overstock, slow-moving, or obsolete materials and escalates identified concerns for further review. Prepares routine inventory reports and maintains information used to support inventory performance monitoring, accuracy, accountability, and operational planning. Coordinates and prioritizes inventory, storeroom, attic stock, cycle count, receiving, and related work assignments based on operational needs. Maintains inventory records and accountability across storerooms, attic stock locations, and other designated inventory areas in accordance with established procedures. Coordinates shipping/receiving activities, including receipt, inspection, validation, documentation, labeling, staging, storage, and distribution of materials. Coordinates with vendors and internal departments to support material availability, delivery requirements, and issue resolution. Sources, negotiates, and purchases equipment, materials, or services as assigned, including obtaining and comparing supplier quotes for price, quality, and lead time. Maintains inventory databases and supporting documentation and follows company requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable inventory procedures. Provides documentation and operational support for internal and external audits and other inventory-related initiatives as assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives. Safety and Operational Support: Follows established safety, security, and housekeeping requirements, including proper use of PPE, safe handling of materials and equipment, and applicable chemical and SDS procedures. Identifies and promptly reports hazards, unsafe conditions, equipment issues, and other concerns that may affect employees or operations.
