Our client in the Bridgewater area is hiring for an Inventory & Materials Planning Analyst! This is a newly created, hands-on analytical position supporting inventory, materials planning, purchasing, forecasting, and production needs within a growing organization. The ideal candidate will understand how customer demand, inventory, purchasing, and production work together and will be comfortable digging into data to identify discrepancies, excess inventory, shortages, and opportunities to improve planning processes. Depending on experience, this role is paying $85,000–$100,000 , including full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays). Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Location: Fully Onsite About the Role Key Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels, material requirements, forecasts, and production needs Review purchasing activity and identify discrepancies, excess orders, and changing demand Analyze inventory vs. forecasted demand and help optimize material availability Identify opportunities to adjust or reduce purchase orders based on demand Partner with Purchasing, Planning, Customer Service, Account Management, and Production Track excess or aging inventory and help determine root causes and solutions Develop reporting and improve visibility into inventory and material requirements Identify process gaps and help create more standardized and scalable planning processes Utilize ERP and other systems to analyze data and support decision-making Support the implementation of new technology and AI-driven tools to improve operational efficiency Qualifications 3+ years of experience in inventory planning, materials planning, supply planning, purchasing, or production planning Experience in manufacturing or contract manufacturing strongly preferred Strong understanding of inventory, forecasting, purchasing, and material planning Ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify trends, discrepancies, and potential issues Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and improving processes Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills ERP experience required; experience with Sage X3 is a plus What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who can look at the bigger picture, connect inventory and purchasing decisions to customer demand and production, and proactively identify ways to improve the process.
