Inventory Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy, purchasing coordination, and material availability across warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and helping ensure materials are available on time to meet operational demands. The ideal candidate will bring strong inventory management experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions. Key Responsibilities: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records Reconcile inventory variances and investigate discrepancies Monitor stock levels to support warehouse and production needs Review purchase requests and assist with purchase order processing Track order fulfillment and follow up on open orders Support purchasing forecasts based on inventory usage and operational demand Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely material availability Assist with process improvements related to inventory control and purchasing activities Train or support team members in inventory and purchasing procedures, if applicable Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, or supply chain operations Experience supporting warehouse, manufacturing, or production environments preferred Proven ability to reconcile inventory and resolve stock discrepancies Required Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory control, sourcing, logistics, and supply chain processes Experience with ERP systems, preferably Business Central Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
