Inventory & Accounts Payable Coordinator

Southern Tire Company is looking for a dependable, organized and detail-oriented person to handle inventory entry and vendor invoices for our busy automotive repair and tire shop. This is an important position in our office. We need someone who pays attention to details, is comfortable working on a computer and will make sure tires and parts are entered correctly and billed to the proper customer. Responsibilities Enter incoming tires, parts and other inventory into our computer system. Enter and process vendor invoices accurately. Make sure tires and parts purchased for customer vehicles are added to the correct customer invoice. Review customer invoices to make sure purchased parts and tires have been properly billed. Keep inventory and purchasing records accurate and up to date. Reconcile monthly vendor statements against invoices, credits and payments, and research and correct missing invoices, credits, pricing differences and other discrepancies. Communicate with vendors when there is a billing or statement issue. Help with other office duties as needed. What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail. Good computer and data-entry skills. Comfortable working with invoices, numbers and vendor statements. Accounts payable, bookkeeping or inventory experience preferred. Automotive, tire or parts experience is a plus, but not required. Dependable and able to work independently. Able to follow established procedures and identify discrepancies or errors. Schedule & Pay 30–40 hours per week Monday through Friday No weekends $23–$25 per hour depending on experience. Southern Tire Company is a locally owned and operated business in South Tampa.
