Inventory Accountant
LHH📍 Inventory Specialist | North Charlotte, NC Are you an accounting professional with strong inventory experience who enjoys digging into data, solving problems, and improving processes? We're partnering with a growing organization seeking an Inventory Specialist to play a key role in strengthening inventory operations following a major ERP transition. What You'll Do • Support inventory month-end close and reconciliation activities • Analyze inventory data and investigate discrepancies using Excel • Drive process improvements tied to an ERP conversion • Partner closely with accounting, operations, and plant teams • Review and coordinate the work of two team members supporting inventory processes • Help improve inventory controls and reporting accuracy What We're Looking For ✔ Inventory accounting and reconciliation experience ✔ Strong Excel and data analysis skills ✔ ERP experience (Vista, Sage, JDE, or similar preferred) ✔ 2-6+ years of relevant accounting experience ✔ Backgrounds in inventory accounting, cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, construction accounting, or public accounting with inventory exposure are all welcome to apply Why Consider This Opportunity? • Opportunity to own and help shape an evolving inventory function • Exposure to ERP optimization and process improvement initiatives • Future growth and leadership potential • Strong benefits package and employee stock purchase program • Stable leadership team and strong employee tenure • Company-wide holiday shutdown between Christmas and New Year's without impacting PTO 📍 Primarily onsite in North Charlotte , with consideration for candidates in the Liberty or Greenville, SC markets.
