Interstate over the road CDL A truck driver

Job Overview Join our team as an Interstate Over-the-Road (OTR) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A truck driver and keep freight moving safely across state lines. You’ll operate tractor-trailers on long-distance routes, manage cargo responsibly, and complete deliveries with care. Work will involve refrigerated trailers, dry van trailers. We mainly haul Fresh Pork, Poultry, Produce and Frozen products. This type of experience would be helpful. Duties Drive commercial trucks on interstate OTR and route-driving assignments; use GPS navigation to follow routes and adjust safely as needed. Pick up and deliver freight, completing delivery driving tasks and required shipment documentation. Operated equipment experience with refrigerated trailers, dry van trailers. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license and ability to operate a tractor-trailer with a manual transmission and or automatic transmission very helpful. Commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, driving, and delivery driver experience; experience with OTR routes is preferred. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations. Experience with refrigerated trailers, freight, GPS navigation, or route driving is an asset.
