International Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary: The International Logistics Coordinator plays an important role in keeping customer orders moving from purchase order through shipment. Working directly with customers, overseas teams, factories, freight partners, and internal departments, this position coordinates the details behind getting products produced, documented, and shipped accurately and on time. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with details, solving problems, communicating with a variety of people, and keeping multiple moving pieces organized. What You'll Do: Review customer purchase orders, item data, quantities, dates, and routing requirements; identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections. Track production milestones and shipping windows across multiple orders, following up with overseas teams and factories on delays, shortages, changes, and other issues that may impact delivery. Prepare and review shipping and commercial documents, packing lists, item details, and system entries to ensure accuracy and meet customer requirements. Coordinate with freight forwarders and internal logistics staff on bookings, container plans, shipment status, and documentation deadlines. Collect and review product labeling, material, and factory documentation, identifying and escalating missing or inconsistent information. Verify product details including dimensions, weights, materials, barcodes, and retail labels against approved records and customer requirements. Communicate directly with customers, internal teams, overseas partners, and suppliers to provide updates, answer questions, and keep action items moving. Coordinate sample and small-parcel shipments, publisher print orders, inventory records, and other fulfillment activities. Look for opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce manual work through AI and other technology tools. Pitch in on other related projects and responsibilities as needed. What We're Looking For: You don't need to come in knowing every part of international logistics. We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with different groups, and motivated to learn. Strong attention to detail and an ability to spot discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution. Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to keep multiple orders, deadlines, and priorities moving at once. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills and comfort working directly with customers. A proactive approach to asking questions, following up, documenting decisions, and raising potential issues early. Strong follow-through and a dependable, accountable approach to work. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office and an ability to learn new systems and customer portals. Ability to use AI and other technology tools to improve efficiency and streamline processes. Comfort with basic math, percentages, data checks, and metric/imperial conversions. Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with a cross-functional team. Experience That Will Help You Succeed: 1-2 years of experience in order management, product fulfillment, logistics, vendor coordination, customer service, or another detail-focused role is preferred. Experience with international shipments, consumer products, retailer requirements, product documentation, or customer purchase orders is helpful but not required.
