We're looking for a detail-oriented logistics professional to help scale our global shipping and fulfillment operations. Position Summary The International Logistics and Fulfillment Lead will oversee end-to-end hardware and accessory shipping, warehouse inventory management, and global order fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations, optimizing shipping costs and lead times, maintaining carrier and 3PL relationships, and leading fulfillment processes to support Alcatraz AI's international growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate international shipping and fulfillment operations for hardware (Rock line, accessories) from manufacturing and warehouse locations to global customers and partners. Manage export/import customs documentation (including Commercial Invoices), trade compliance, and regional import regulations across global destinations. Standardize and enforce Incoterms across all shipments to clearly define cost, risk, and responsibility parameters between Alcatraz AI and external entities. Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with freight forwarders, 3PL partners, parcel carriers, and customs brokers to ensure performance and cost targets are met. Oversee daily order fulfillment workflows, pick/pack/ship SLA performance, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipment tracking while resolving holds or delays proactively. Maintain detailed logistics logs, lead inventory audits at regional offices/warehouses, and drive continuous improvement in warehouse storage and operational efficiency. Own RMA process, ensuring RMAs are shipped within SLA, records are accurately updated to reflect closure. Partner closely with Order Management, Finance, Product, and RMA teams to streamline reverse logistics, order processing, and warranty replacement fulfillment. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify freight cost reduction opportunities, optimize packaging, and reduce order-to-delivery lead times. Develop, implement, and scale global logistics policies, SOPs, and ERP-integrated fulfillment processes. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in international logistics, order fulfillment operations, 3PL management, or supply chain leadership. Deep knowledge of Incoterms, international customs documentation, tariff codes, and global import/export compliance standards. Proven track record of managing physical product/hardware fulfillment operations and global distribution networks. Hands-on proficiency with ERP/WMS software (NetSuite proficiency is a strong advantage) and logistics integration platforms. Strong ownership, leadership, cross-functional project management, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills. Excellent communication skills for coordinating across internal teams and external vendors Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or equivalent practical experience.
