International Import/Export Coordinator
Coppell, TX | Hybrid (Mon–Fri, WFH Wed & Fri)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$20-$23/hour based upon experience
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
W2, Temp-to-Hire
Start Date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
This role ensures end-to-end operational success across international and domestic logistics—from pickup through delivery and invoicing. It requires comprehensive understanding of trade regulations, shipping documentation, and cross-border compliance. Coordinators directly impact cost control, timely deliveries, and vendor satisfaction across multimodal transport lanes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate all phases of international and domestic shipments, from pickup to final delivery
Prepare and verify import/export documentation in compliance with U.S. and international regulations
Analyze service lanes for efficiency, cost, and performance; implement improvement measures
Liaise with global vendors and logistics partners to resolve escalations and enhance service quality
Monitor and report department KPIs including on-time performance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years’ experience in import/export logistics, including document prep and carrier coordination
Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish (written and oral)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; accurate data entry required
Knowledge of compliance standards for both imports and exports
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
International shipment and customs documentation platforms
Transportation management systems (TMS)
Email and phone-based vendor coordination
PREFERRED SKILLS
Prior experience handling A–Z freight across all modes of transport
Knowledge of Incoterms and tariff classifications
Vendor performance management and escalation resolution
