Freight Forwarding Operations – Ocean & Senior Air Openings Houston, TX 77032 | Full-time | Onsite A growing freight forwarding company is hiring for two separate positions: Ocean Operations Coordinator and Senior Air Operations Coordinator. Both offer ownership of shipments from start to finish and regular interaction with customers, carriers, and internal teams. Ocean Operations Coordinator Coordinate ocean shipments from initial quote and booking through final delivery. Negotiate rates, arrange pickups, track shipments, and keep customers informed. Manage shipping documentation, applicable FMC filings, and billing. Senior Air Operations Coordinator Manage air freight shipments from start to finish, with an emphasis on international exports. Handle quoting, booking, routing, tracking, rate negotiations, and invoicing. Coordinate with warehouse teams, carriers, and customers to resolve issues and keep freight moving. What we’re looking for Approximately 3–10+ years of relevant (ocean OR air) freight forwarding experience , depending on the position, with deeper air export experience for the senior opening. Hands-on experience with the full shipment lifecycle, including documentation and billing. Strong customer communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage shifting priorities. Experience with Descartes OneView or IES is a plus. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; additional hours as needed.
