Position Summary The International Compliance Specialist ensures the accurate and timely filing of the Advance Manifest System filings with Customs and Border Protection. This individual is also responsible for accurate and timely filings of eManifest to Canada Border Services Agency as well as FMC tariff rate filings and generation of all eShipping house bills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following: Demonstrate proficiency in FMC regulations Demonstrate high level knowledge of the import and export process Prepare, handle, and process eShipping house waybills Prepare, handle, and process rate filings in eShipping’s FMC rate tariff Communicate effectively and timely with import and export operators to facilitate timely rate filings Consistently maintain compliance standards including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements Possess a strong record of maintaining exceptional compliance as well as the ability to complete time-sensitive tasks by deadlines File Advance Manifest System entries timely and accurately. File eManifest System entries timely and accurately. Collaborate with Overseas agents to coordinate timely receipt of required information. Support the Compliance Manager with Client Compliance Consulting Identify areas where additional training is needed for operators regarding compliance and government filings. Train operators in compliance related topics. File Post Summary Corrections and Protests through CargoWise and ACE.
