International Air Freight Sales Executive – Import & Export (Bilingual English/Spanish)

International Air Freight Sales Executive – Import & Export Bilingual English/Spanish MPK is seeking an experienced International Air Freight Sales Executive to develop new business and grow our import and export air freight operations in the Miami market. The ideal candidate has an established background in freight forwarding and international logistics, strong knowledge of air cargo operations through Miami International Airport (MIA), and existing relationships within the import/export community. Responsibilities Develop and maintain new business for international air freight import and export services. Prospect and build relationships with importers, exporters, distributors, manufacturers, wholesalers, e-commerce companies, and other potential clients. Generate new sales opportunities through calls, emails, networking, referrals, and existing industry relationships. Prepare freight quotations and negotiate competitive air freight rates. Work closely with operations to ensure smooth handling of customer shipments. Manage and grow customer accounts while identifying additional business opportunities. Provide professional follow-up and maintain strong long-term client relationships. Understand customer shipping requirements and recommend appropriate logistics solutions. Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or a closely related industry . Strong experience specifically with international air freight . Knowledge of air import and export operations through Miami International Airport (MIA) . Existing industry contacts or an established network of potential customers is highly preferred. Experience quoting freight and negotiating rates. Strong understanding of AWB, MAWB/HAWB, consolidation, courier services, door-to-door shipments, Incoterms, customs clearance, and airport-related charges . Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and comfortable developing new business. Fluent in English and Spanish. Preferred Candidate We are especially interested in candidates who already have strong relationships within the South Florida import/export and logistics market and have a proven history of generating air freight business.
