Position Overview: The Internal Sales Support Specialist role plays a critical part in supporting HVAC field service operations through repair and project quoting, managing parts inventory, procurement, and material logistics. This position ensures that quotes are sent in a timely manner to our customers and all necessary parts, tools, and materials are available and delivered efficiently to support maintenance, repair, and installation tasks for our service technicians. The Internal Sales Support Specialist role is vital to our mission to provide our clients with a level of service that is second to none. Principal Duties: · Compile data into estimating worksheets and generate proposals based on recent service history and preventative maintenance reports. · Collaborate with vendors for pricing and lead times for equipment, parts, and supplies. · Partner with service technicians and sales personnel to coordinate multiple priorities, including repair proposals and parts orders. · Communicate all pertinent information to the technical and sales team to ensure customer requirements are met (work orders, service quotes, and sales tracker.) · Create work orders for approved proposals, order the required materials, and coordinate with dispatch for scheduling. · Follow up with customers and vendors to ensure timely service delivery. · Maintain accurate and current customer records in company ERP system (such as service repair and equipment replacement information) · Suggest, develop, and implement solutions and procedures that add value to align with the company, team, project goals, and operational efficiency Skills and Qualifications: Required: · High school diploma or equivalent required.
