Internal Auditor (CPA Required)

Job Summary Fast Track Express is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Internal Auditor (CPA) to evaluate financial operations, conduct independent audits, assess internal controls, and ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal auditing, financial investigations, risk assessment, and identifying accounting irregularities. This position plays a critical role in protecting company assets, improving financial transparency, and strengthening financial accountability. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive internal audits of financial records, transactions, and accounting processes. Independently assess financial statements, accounting procedures, and internal controls. Identify financial discrepancies, unusual transactions, potential fraud, and operational risks. Audit accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and expense transactions. Evaluate accounting accuracy, financial documentation, and compliance with established policies. Review internal controls and recommend improvements to prevent financial errors and losses. Perform investigative and forensic accounting reviews when necessary. Assess the effectiveness of financial policies, approval processes, and accounting SOPs. Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and corrective recommendations. Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and corrective measures. Support audit planning, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Active CPA license is mandatory. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing, public accounting, or financial compliance. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, audit procedures, and financial regulations. Experience in forensic accounting, fraud detection, or financial investigations preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems. Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail, professional ethics, and confidentiality. Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding preferred.
