Intern - Sourcing Supply Chain

Job Description: The Sourcing Supply Chain Intern will support key procurement and sourcing functions across multiple divisions. Responsibilities include assisting with quoting activities and leading continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, automation, and cross-functional efficiency. The intern will help refine and document commodity sourcing strategies and gain hands-on experience by shadowing procurement personnel in buying, planning, and inventory control. Essential Functions: Ability to develop Excel macros and Access databases Basic understanding of Supply Chain Management Understanding of continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma Qualifications: Enrolled in an acredited Supply Chain or Procurement program with a Jr. or Sr. standing with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA Strong in Excel, Word, Powerpoint Ability to qualify for a security clearance which typically means U.S. Citizenship and a clean background Ability to move freely in a manufacturing setting
