What We're Looking for: We are currently looking for a dependable Mobile Mechanic/Fueler to join our team …THIS IS AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION; WE WILL TRAIN YOU! Inspect and perform light repairs on diesel generators. Diagnoses, maintains, repairs, electrical and mechanical parts as required. Completes detailed paperwork, as necessary. Operates vans, trucks, and forklifts as necessary to complete tasks. Comply with all safety procedures to prevent injury and property damage. Assist in shop as needed to fulfill the workload. Requirements: This is a mobile position; a valid driver's license is necessary. Previous experience working in the intermodal / railroad industry is a plus, but not necessary. Must be willing to learn and have basic mechanical skills. Must be able to carry 50lbs. Must be willing to climb ladders. Must be willing to work outdoors. Must have basic computer / email skills. Must supply basic hand tools. Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment (steel toe boots, safety glasses, etc.) Must pass Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screening, and Background check Must be able to pass a background check for a Railroad Security Badge. Must be willing to obtain a CDL C license as a condition of employment (we will reimburse for license and fingerprint fees).
