You dispatch the drivers and keep them legal — DQ files, HOS, CSA, claims. It is a real seat with real authority: you work directly with the owner, and when you fix something it stays fixed. What you'll do Dispatch Plan and dispatch daily container moves: ramp pulls, deliveries, empty returns, chassis. Assign loads by equipment, hours of service and customer window; keep drivers productive and the board tight. Be the voice to the rail ramps, chassis providers and customers — ETAs, delays, per diem and demurrage avoidance. Track loads live in our system and update the customer before they have to ask. Clear problems fast: trouble tickets, bad chassis, missed appointments, driver issues. Keep dispatch logs and shipment paperwork accurate and current. Safety Own driver qualification files, the drug and alcohol program, MVRs, medical cards and annual reviews. Monitor ELD/HOS, CSA scores and roadside inspections; fix what's trending before it becomes an audit finding. Lead accident investigations and work claims with the insurance carrier. Run onboarding safety training and regular toolbox talks. Keep us DOT-audit-ready every day. What you bring 2+ years dispatching intermodal, drayage or regional trucking. 1+ year in a trucking safety or compliance role, or hands-on DQ-file and DOT experience. Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations, HOS and ELDs. Comfortable in a TMS, Excel and Outlook; quick on the phone when it's going sideways. Organized under pressure — you don't lose a load or a file. Nice to have: Class A CDL · Bilingual English/Spanish · Rail-ramp or port experience · Experience managing 1099 / owner-operator fleets. Hours Monday–Friday, 40 hours a week, scheduled within our 6:00 AM–7:00 PM dispatch window. Your shift is set monthly so you can plan around it; 30-minute unpaid lunch. First two weeks of training run 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. No regular weekends. Why MVision Small, stable operation — direct line to the owner, decisions made the same day.
