Intermodal Dispatcher

Bravo Motor Carriers is a Houston-based, bonded intermodal and drayage carrier moving containers between Port Houston, rail ramps, local warehouses, and regional Texas loads only. We are a growing fleet. You will work directly with ownership, we are looking for someone who wants to stay and grow with us long term. Compensation Base salary $46,000 – $52,000 per year, based on experience Benefits stipend $300 per month, paid in lieu of benefits Retention bonus $1,000 at 6 months and $2,000 at 12 months Owner-operator bonus $500 for each owner-operator you bring in who completes 6 months with us Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday, [hours] Central Time; occasional after-hours availability Location Remote – Brownsville / Rio Grande Valley, TX area What You Will Do Dispatch drivers and owner-operators on daily container moves between port terminals, rail ramps, and customer facilities Book terminal appointments and track container availability, holds, and last free days Coordinate in-bond shipments and their required documentation Monitor loads in real time and solve problems as they arise Keep customers updated on status and exceptions Plan driver schedules to maximize daily turns Minimize demurrage, detention, and per diem charges Help recruit and retain owner-operators as the fleet grows Keep records accurate in our TMS and submit delivery documents for billing What We Are Looking For 3+ years of truck dispatch experience; drayage, intermodal. A stable work history; we value people who stay Calm under pressure and highly organized Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home workspace A Plus Knowledge of in-bond shipments Knowledge of the Houston ports (we will train you on our operation) Bilingual English/Spanish Relationships with owner-operators Why Bravo Remote in Brownsville TX offices.
