Intermodal Dispatcher

Position Summary The Dispatcher will coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a company. They will determine the most cost-effective delivery options with customers and the most efficient routes with drivers, all while answering phones when drivers need assistance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key interface between the company and your assigned drivers Provide world class customer service at all times Diagnosing and resolving operational issues timely Strong customer service skills; ability to diffuse both driver and client frustrations and ability to develop compromises that keep all parties successful Ability to use logic and problem-solving skills Advocate of safe driving and a safety-first culture Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results Ability to handle stressful situations with a smile Effective email management skills Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided Job Type: Full-time Pay: $800.00 - $1,800.00 per week Benefits: Paid time off Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
