This local Class A CDL position in Harrisburg, PA moves intermodal freight in and out of the area's rail yards, with 2-5 loads per shift. Pay is activity-based with plenty of add-ons, and the company reimburses your hazmat endorsement costs. Tractor stays at the terminal while you're off. Routes & Freight Intermodal loads to and from Harrisburg, PA rail yards. 2–5 loads per shift. Priority loading and unloading at the yards. No NYC routes. Equipment Manual and automatic trucks available. Average truck age: approximately 2 years. Slip seating. On-site management and full-service maintenance. Endorsement Requirement Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire. Requirements Valid Class A CDL. Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience. No SAP drivers. Clean driving record. Valid DOT Medical Card. Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire. Able to drive manual or automatic trucks. Non-smoker. Willing to work overnight start times.
