Regional Intermodal Truck Driver – Home Weekends Position Type: Full-Time | Class A CDL Average Annual Pay: $86,000–$95,000 Home Time: Weekly | Monday–Friday Schedule Sign-On Bonus Available A Regional Driving Job With a Schedule You Can Count On We're hiring Class A CDL drivers for a regional intermodal account operating throughout Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. This opportunity offers consistent container freight, preplanned loads, and a Monday–Friday workweek. Drivers can select their preferred start time and maintain a consistent schedule while enjoying weekly home time. What Makes This Position Stand Out Home Weekly: Minimum 34-hour reset, with the possibility of up to 48 hours at home Monday–Friday Schedule: Consistent workweek No-Touch Freight: All loads are containerized freight Average Annual Earnings: $86,000–$95,000 Mileage Pay: $0.64–$0.69 CPM Flexible Start Time: Select your start time and maintain a consistent schedule Freight: Approximately 70% drop & hook and 30% live load/unload Sign-On Bonus Available Regional Routes & Freight Drivers transport intermodal containers between the Detroit market and Chicago-area rail yards. Operating states: MI, IL, and IN Pickups and deliveries at established rail ramps throughout the Chicagoland area Consistent regional lanes with a smaller customer base Loads planned in advance to help minimize downtime Drivers generally remain within a day's drive of home Equipment & Driver Support Automatic transmission tractors Mid-roof conventional trucks averaging under two years old Toll passes provided for optional toll-road routing On-site management and operational support Drivers may take their assigned truck home during scheduled time off Paid training arrangements available; details provided during onboarding Driver Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience Ability to obtain a Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire Hazmat endorsement costs reimbursed by the account Ability to meet DOT and company hiring requirements Dependable and comfortable operating regional intermodal routes About ASB Freight Co.: ASB Freight Co. is a family-operated logistics company built on reliability, safety, and driver-focused values.
