Learn more about this agency This job is open to The public U.S. Citizens, Nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Clarification from the agency U.S. Citizens Duties You will execute all reentry system tests and the reentry flight testing portfolio, inclusive of the planning, design, development, production, and flight test integration of all reentry systems flight and not flight test configurations. You will support various stakeholders in the formulation and execution of requirements, planning factors, and budgets to support design, development, production, and test and evaluation of reentry systems advanced concepts and experiments. You will direct and participate in reviews of progress and/or issues with stakeholders related to Nuclear Delivery Systems (NDS) Science and Technology (S and T) experiments and testing. You will draft and execute the technical and programmatic scope of relevant contractual vehicles including work requests, task orders, and Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests (MIPR). You will manage and coordinate a diverse staff industry/contractor personnel and other government agency efforts to deliver mission success for NRS S and T experiments and tests. You will support the unit head for Reentry Systems and Payload Test and the section head for Reentry Systems Products, Integration and Test in their role as an advisor and consultant to the Reentry Systems Branch Head. Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
