TMEICGeneral Role Description Ensure the effective design, development, implementation, measurement, and management of processes for third-party skid and e-house integration and other major subcontractors for the business unit (BU). Role Accountabilities Analyze business unit needs to mitigate integration and major subcontracting supply and delivery risk, recommend appropriate solutions, implement as approved Develop and recommend optimal integration and major subcontracting supplier selection criteria Manage qualifications and performance evaluation of integrators and major subcontractors Lead the process of development, revision control, and storage of a standard set of specifications for procurement of integration and subcontracting services, in collaboration with the BU engineering department Negotiate standard integration pricing matrix and lead-times with suppliers, not less than annually, and communicate to appropriate BU personnel Negotiate non-standard integration pricing, communicating with appropriate BU personnel as needed Identify and recommend integration and subcontracting service providers with optimal quality, cost, and delivery qualifications Identify opportunities to maximize savings integration and subcontracting services Drive continuous cost reduction via standard integration design Design, develop, and implement a tool for opportunity tracking status Track non-conformance reports and cost of quality at integrator and subcontractors, and lead supplier recovery activities Ensure timely resolution of all damage claims of integrator parts through collaboration with appropriate personnel Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including parent company resources and suppliers, for successful execution of integration scope for business unit projects, ensuring that company objectives are met Recommend and implement risk assessment and abatement plan to meet integration budgets, targets, and schedules Serve as single point of contact for BU personnel, integrators, and major subcontractors regarding pre-order commitments and post-order deliverables Provide timely updates on integrator and major subcontractor performance, integration processes, market trends, project status, and supplier relationships to management Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to management for improvements on project execution processes pertinent to major equipment suppliers in the integration chain Track and report status of integrator and major subcontractor milestones and report to project management as needed Evaluate committed dates for shipment and delivery, in collaboration with Project Manager, and communicate requirements to appropriate sourcing personnel Lead respective process component of first article inspection and client witness acceptance test as assigned Maintain current safety qualifications appropriate to the assigned tasks to adhere to Company, supplier, and client safety requirements General Employee Accountabilities Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager Give manager best advice Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws Recommend viable improvements proactively Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Electronics, or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience 3 years’ experience in mechanical integration of AC and DC power control systems or equivalent equipment 3 years’ experience qualifying major sub-contractors 3 years’ project management experience in a technical environment 2 years’ experience participating in sales transaction process for equipment…
