Installation Manager – Window and Siding Operations
ConfidentialPosition Summary We are seeking an experienced Installation Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our window and siding installation operations. This role is responsible for managing installation crews, coordinating schedules, ordering materials, supporting warehouse operations, ensuring exceptional customer experience, and maintaining installation quality standards. The Installation Manager serves as the primary operational leader for all window and siding projects from post-sale through completion. This position reports directly to the Branch Manager and plays a critical role in delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring efficient, profitable operations. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Installation Operations Manage daily installation schedules and crew assignments Coordinate installation timelines to ensure on-time project completion Monitor installation capacity and workforce utilization Oversee all window and siding installations Ensure installation quality standards are consistently met Conduct job site inspections and quality control review Crew Management Lead, support, and manage installation crews Recruit, onboard, and train installers as needed Conduct performance evaluations and coaching Ensure crews comply with company policies and installation standards Manage installer schedules, productivity, and accountability Resolve installer issues and field challenges Materials & Warehouse Coordination Review sold jobs for material accuracy Coordinate material ordering and delivery schedules Manage staging and preparation of materials for upcoming installations Pull and organize materials from warehouse inventory Verify materials prior to installation Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment Customer Experience Serve as the primary escalation point for installation-related concerns Communicate proactively with customers regarding project timelines Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the installation process Conduct follow-up inspections when necessary Measuring & Quality Assurance Coordinate and complete pre-job site measures Review measurements and installation requirements Verify job readiness prior to scheduling installations Ensure proper documentation of field conditions Identify potential installation challenges before work begins Qualifications: Required Window and siding industry experience Strong knowledge of window and siding installations Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational and scheduling skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to resolve conflicts and manage difficult situations professionally Proficiency with computers and business software systems Preferred Previous experience managing installation crews Hands-on window and siding installation experience Experience with warehouse operations and inventory management Experience using ERP or scheduling software Experience with window and siding estimating and measurement processes Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Skills & Competencies Leadership and team management Scheduling and logistics coordination Customer relationship management Problem-solving and decision-making Attention to detail Time management Quality control Conflict resolution What Success Looks Like Installations completed on time and within budget High customer satisfaction scores Strong crew performance and retention Minimal callbacks and warranty claims Efficient material management and job readiness Positive collaboration across departments Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Work Location: In person
