The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.The RoleOur global shipping and logistics manager is responsible for the global supply chain management of our Racing and Festival event apparel operations divisions, ensuring that goods and materials are moved, monitored, and managed. They oversee a variety of operations, including; transportation, warehouse operations, inventory management, import and export processes, purchasing, production planning, and customer service. This global logistics manager is a supply chain expert who use their skills to coordinate essential operations in our business. They are excellent negotiators, organizers, and problem-solvers play a meaningful role within the event family.ResponsibilitiesManage respective supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution, supplier scorecards, and periodic business reviewsLead cross-functional teams to manage project timelines including developing and maintaining action trackers, Gantt charts, and other program management tools related to on-time delivery of supplier products against event timingCommunicate key supply, cost, and/or quality issues with management teams as well as develop corrective action plans to mitigate identified risksPlanning transportation and distribution routesWorking with customs and freight forwarders to properly document and move freight to 22 countriesImport and Export Process Creation and OptimizationDirecting fleetsAnalyzing freight budgets and billingProcessing in-bound and outbound shipmentsSupervising warehouse functionsCreating optimal receipt, dispatching, and storage proceduresTracking and tracing ordersCoordinating inbound and outbound shipmentsManaging transportation documentationManaging ordersQualificationsDegree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability5+ years’ experience in global logistics managementStrong knowledge of international and domestic shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirementsProven ability to optimize logistics and/or supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costsExceptional ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and lead a teamStrong analytical skills with experience in analyzing data to drive operational improvementsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, process-oriented, problem-solving, and project management skillsProficient in logistics software and IT systemsExperience in analyzing data to drive operational improvementsProven ability to problem solve and communicate in a professional mannerSterling reputation for excellence in the required role with at least five top notch referencesMust be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitudeMust be an active prob…
