Inside Sales / Warehouse

About the Role FSI is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Inside Sales / Warehouse person to join our team at our Woodstock, Ontario facility. This position plays an important role in supporting our customers throughout the sales and project cycle—from initial quote requests through order processing, material coordination, receiving, and shipping. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities, and working closely with customers and internal team members to ensure orders are handled accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer requests, assist with quote, and order requirements throughout the sales and project cycle. Prepare and generate customer quotations based on incoming requests. Enter and process sales orders upon receipt of customer purchase orders. Communicate with customers regarding quotes, orders, material requirements, and order status as required. Work closely with the Order Specialist and Technical Sales Director to ensure quoted materials are ordered and brought into FSI once a customer's purchase order has been received, and coordinate with internal team members to help ensure customer requirements and timelines are met. Help package and prepare material orders for shipment. Assist with receiving incoming materials and orders in the warehouse. Maintain accurate customer, quotation, and order information. Provide professional, responsive, and helpful service to customers throughout the order process. Perform other related duties as required to support the sales, customer service, order fulfillment, and warehouse functions. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple customer requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer and data-entry skills; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC365) would be a strong asset. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with quotations, sales orders, purchasing, order processing, shipping, receiving, or customer service is an asset. Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or technical environment is an asset. Forklift, shipping & receiving experience is an asset. Work Environment This is an on-site position based at FSI's facility in Woodstock, Ontario . The role combines office-based customer and order support with hands-on involvement in warehouse shipping and receiving activities. The Inside Sales person will report to Technical Sales Director and will work closely with other members of the FSI team to ensure customer requests are handled accurately, professionally, and efficiently.
