Inside Sales & Operation Specialist

U.S. Products is seeking a full-time Inside Sales & Operations Specialist to support daily sales, purchasing, inventory, e-commerce, and warehouse operations. This is a dynamic, cross-functional position ideal for someone who is organized, technologically capable, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of multiple responsibilities in a growing business environment. The primary focus of this role is managing the customer order lifecycle, from receiving inquiries and preparing quotations to sourcing materials, processing orders, and coordinating fulfillment. The position will also support purchasing, inventory management, supplier relationships, Shopify administration, and general operational activities. We are looking for someone who enjoys problem solving, improving processes, and contributing directly to the growth and efficiency of the business. Key Responsibilities Customer Orders & Sales Support Receive, process, and coordinate customer orders from initial inquiry through fulfillment. Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines. Prepare customer quotations, sales orders, and related documentation. Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and lead times. Monitor open orders, backorders, and order status updates. Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. Identify alternative products and sourcing solutions when necessary. Purchasing & Vendor Relations Request and evaluate supplier quotations, pricing, and availability. Prepare and manage purchase orders and purchasing documentation. Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate supplier communications. Support inventory replenishment and purchasing activities. Compare supplier pricing and purchasing options to maintain competitive material costs. Track outstanding purchases, backorders, and supplier lead times. Inventory Management & E-Commerce Maintain accurate physical and digital inventory records. Manage product listings, SKUs, quantities, pricing, and inventory information within Shopify. Monitor inventory movements, stock levels, discrepancies, and replenishment requirements. Assist with inventory counts, reconciliations, and stock audits. Maintain inventory trackers, reports, and product databases. Support inventory forecasting, stock planning, and purchasing budgets. Identify fast-moving products and opportunities to improve inventory efficiency. Warehouse & Administrative Operations Support daily administrative functions related to warehouse operations. Maintain tools and equipment inventory logs, assignment records, and check-in/check-out documentation. Coordinate receiving, stocking, order preparation, and material releases with warehouse personnel. Maintain organized records of inventory, purchasing, deliveries, and operational activities. Assist in developing and improving internal workflows, tracking systems, and operating procedures. Provide general operational and administrative support as business needs evolve. Qualifications & Experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in order processing, inside sales, purchasing, inventory management, or warehouse administration. Previous experience in electrical distribution, low-voltage, construction materials, wholesale distribution, or a related industry. Familiarity with electrical and low-voltage products, including wire and cable, conduit, fittings, structured cabling, and related materials. Experience with Shopify, ERP platforms, inventory management systems, or CRM software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other business productivity applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
