Overview Join our team as an Inside Sales Representative, Metal Shear Operator, and Warehouse Assistant. You’ll support customers, prepare sheet metal orders, and keep materials moving safely through the shop. This hands-on role combines customer service with metal fabrication and warehouse work. Duties Respond to customer inquiries, help identify product needs, and prepare accurate order details. Operate a metal shear and, as needed, other production equipment such as required . Handle receiving, storage, picking, and staging of materials; use a forklift when qualified and authorized. Read technical drawings and mechanical blueprints; apply shop math, basic math, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) where applicable. Set up tooling, use hand tools and measuring instruments, inspect quality, and complete assembly while following production safety standards and protocols. Your impact: Accurate order support and careful fabrication help customers receive the right materials while keeping shop work safe and dependable. Experience Experience in inside sales, manufacturing, metal fabrication, machining, machine operation, press operation, or warehouse work is helpful. Mechanical knowledge, precision measurement, quality control, welding, and machining tool setup are useful; ability to learn equipment and procedures is important. Follow safety requirements, handle materials responsibly, and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
