INSIDE/ COUNTER SALES & WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

RH Scales Co. – Hartford, CT RH Scales has been a family-owned distributor of automotive, heavy-duty truck, trailer, RV, snow & ice, and related parts since 1933. We operate six locations across New England and New York, and we're looking for someone dependable and customer-focused to join our Hartford team. THE ROLE You'll split your day between customers (phone and counter) and warehouse operations. One part of the day might be handling inbound calls and walk-ins; another could be picking inventory, processing orders, receiving product, or loading trucks. This is a true hybrid position—you need to be comfortable talking with customers and equally comfortable getting your hands dirty and helping wherever needed. Your responsibilities: Answer phones and assist customers with parts identification and solutions Serve counter customers and process their orders Pick, pack, receive, and organize inventory Load and unload products and coordinate location transfers Support shipping and receiving Help keep customer orders accurate, organized, and moving efficiently WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Dependable . This is a small team and we count on people to show up and pitch in. Good with people. You'll work with customers regularly, both in person and on the phone. Comfortable in a warehouse. You're not afraid of lifting, moving product, or helping wherever needed. Willing to learn. You'll learn our products, our systems, our customers, and how to solve problems. Experience in automotive, heavy-duty truck, fleet, trailer, or distribution is a major plus. Inside sales, counter sales, parts, or warehouse experience is preferred—but we'll train the right person. A college degree is not required. THE DETAILS Full-time Monday–Friday Daytime schedule No regular nights or weekends Compensation: $18–24/hour, depending on experience WHY JOIN RH SCALES Stability.
