Position Summary
The Infrastructure Operations Manager oversees the operational status of Technical Control facilities and cryptographic operations supporting the Pentagon and NCR. This role provides technical direction and supervision for tech control employees, ensuring effective maintenance of transmission paths and facilities across multiple classification levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain operational status of Technical Control facilities
- Manage Tech Control equipment including switches, encryption devices, network operation consoles, and circuits
- Supervise tech control employees in efforts similar in size and scope to this contract
- Provide technical direction for coordinating, restoring, and reporting functions
- Operate and maintain Tier 2 Tech Control Helpdesk functions per DISAC 310-175-9
- Communicate with highest levels of management (oral and written)
- Handle incidents and service requests for changes, problems, configurations, and equipment requisitions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in IT- related field or 5 years equivalent experience
- 5+ years managing and operating cryptographic facilities
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
- Active Top Secret Clearance, SCI Eligible
