IT Procurement Manager The IT Procurement Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contracting initiatives related to technology products and services across a multi-location organization. This role oversees procurement strategies designed to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, strengthen contract compliance, and support the organization's technology and operational objectives. The position manages the full IT sourcing and contracting lifecycle, from market research and competitive bidding through supplier selection, contract negotiations, execution, and ongoing performance management. This individual will oversee technology-related supplier relationships, including software, hardware, IT services, and related solutions, while partnering with internal IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other business stakeholders. In addition to providing leadership and strategic direction, this individual maintains direct responsibility for an assigned portfolio of technology vendors and contracts while identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes, supplier performance, and overall value. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute strategic IT sourcing initiatives, including market research, RFP development, competitive bidding, supplier evaluation, negotiation strategy, and contract execution. Oversee the full technology contract lifecycle, ensuring competitive pricing, favorable terms, appropriate service levels, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives. Manage sourcing activities across multiple locations and business units, coordinating technology procurement projects and cross-functional initiatives. Identify opportunities for cost savings, technology spend optimization, process improvements, and operational efficiencies. Maintain strong knowledge of technology products, services, software solutions, hardware, and relevant IT supplier markets. Develop and maintain relationships with IT leadership, Finance, Legal, and operational teams to support technology procurement strategies and business priorities. Monitor and report on sourcing performance, cost savings, contract compliance, supplier performance, and other key performance indicators. Utilize procurement technology, spend analytics, vendor intelligence, and e-procurement tools to support strategic decision-making and improve procurement processes. Manage technology supplier relationships, monitor vendor performance, and ensure accountability for contractual commitments, service expectations, and deliverables. Establish project timelines, manage key milestones, communicate progress, and proactively address potential challenges or roadblocks. Conduct supplier evaluations, contract reviews, performance assessments, and ongoing technology market research. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on contract development, supplier selection, competitive bid evaluations, and technology procurement standards. Support technology vendor onboarding, procurement system integration, and the identification and sourcing of IT products and services for new locations, business transitions, and ongoing organizational needs. Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and other business activities as needed. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives. Qualifications 3+ years of directly related experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or vendor and contract management. Experience managing technology sourcing initiatives, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and competitive bidding processes. Familiarity with IT procurement categories, including software, hardware, technology services, licensing, and related solutions.
