Industrial Packaging & Shipping Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging & Shipping Associateto support our production operations. This role is responsible for packaging finished metal parts, performing basic quality checks, and assisting production line operators with racking and unracking parts as needed. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with good time-management skills who can stay focused in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Package finished metal parts according to customer and internal specifications Prepare parts for shipment, including labeling and staging Perform basic quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure parts meet visual and handling standards before shipping Assist line operators with racking and unracking parts as needed Maintain a clean and organized packaging and shipping area Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow stays on schedule Qualifications & Skills Previous packing and shipping experience Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus Ability to perform basic visual quality inspections Strong time managementskills and ability to stay on task Team-oriented mindset with willingness to assist others as needed Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Forklift experience is a plus (certification preferred but not required) Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 50 lbs) Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Comfortable working in an industrial/warehouse environment Work Environment Manufacturing / metal finishing facility Fast-paced, hands-on production environment Safety-focused workplace Schedule Full-time Day shift (7:30 am – 4:30 pm) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have experience with packing product in an industrial setting?
