Industrial Materials Handler — Vance, Alabama (35490) Step into a day where your hands keep operations moving. As an Industrial Materials Handler at our Vance facility, you’ll start your shift by checking the production schedule, teaming up with coworkers, and making sure tools and work areas are set for a safe, efficient day. What your day looks like You’ll rotate between moving incoming and outgoing goods, pitching in on production tasks, and keeping the facility tidy and hazard‑free. When something looks off—whether it’s a spill, a loose guard, or a tool acting up—you’ll flag it fast and help resolve it. Core responsibilities Load and unload materials and finished products to support production flow. Carry out basic facility upkeep, including cleaning and general maintenance. Jump in with production teams on varied tasks as demand shifts. Follow established safety procedures and help maintain orderly work areas. Use common hand tools and equipment correctly and safely. Identify and report hazards or equipment issues to supervisors immediately. Coordinate with teammates to achieve daily output goals. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in physically demanding work is helpful but not required. Comfort lifting and moving heavy items; able to perform manual tasks throughout the shift. Keen attention to detail with a safety-first mindset. Clear communicator and reliable team player. Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new tasks.
