BENEFITS INFORMATION: For information on Sysco’s Benefits, please visit https://SyscoBenefits.com SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE: Areas of responsibility include assigned engineered labor standards development and maintenance, governance support, prescribed work methods, operational analysis, site audits, labor management system sustainment, field education, project coordination, and improvement efforts that support operational execution and business performance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, maintain, and manage assigned engineered labor standards and prescribed work methods using engineered standards software, labor management systems, MOST, and other Industrial Engineering methods. Support ELS and LMS governance by addressing standards accuracy, sustainability, data integrity, documentation quality, and compliance risks within assigned scope. Analyze operational performance using labor management, warehouse management, transportation, and other Business Technology systems, including data extraction and analysis through SQL, queries, and related tools. Partner with operations leaders, IE leadership, and cross-functional teams to identify root causes, validate improvement opportunities, and translate Industrial Engineering analysis into practical operating actions, while influencing decisions across multiple functions and facilities. Lead or support assigned multi-site improvement work, pilot support, and cross-functional initiatives that improve productivity, labor utilization, process consistency, system accuracy, and measurable business results. Support project execution by understanding timelines, tracking progress against milestones, maintaining follow-up actions, performing quality assurance reviews of assigned work, and communicating progress, risks, and results. Conduct onsite observations, audits, governance reviews, and performance validations to assess method adherence, system accuracy, process consistency, labor utilization, equipment usage, workflow, and improvement opportunities. Support sustainment and optimization of labor management and related operational systems by validating configuration, calibration, parameters, and data integrity. Apply Industrial Engineering methods to develop labor models, simulation or congestion models, regression analysis, and other analytical tools that support operational improvement and resource utilization. Identify, quantify, and prioritize assigned opportunities; develop or support expected benefits, implementation plans, and results tracking against agreed measures. Serve as a trusted technical resource and provide field education on ELS, prescribed methods, work measurement, labor systems, Industrial Engineering, and continuous improvement tools. Mentor less experienced engineers, support onboarding and capability-building activities, and share best practices across the Industrial Engineering team. Accept additional responsibilities or special projects as requested, as other duties may be assigned.
