Industrial Distribution Warehouse Order Picker

JAM Industrial Supply is a Drug Free Work Place. We offer paid sick time, holidays after 90 days. We also offer paid vacation time, 401k and Profit Sharing after one year. JAM requires pre-employment drug testing and random screens as required by the BWC. The Warehouse Order Picker position is a full time, day shift, Monday through Friday position with a salary range of $18-20.00 dollars per hr. depending on skills and knowledge. The successful candidate must: Demonstrate professional behavior, cooperative and respectful attitude toward all employees. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Demonstrate safe use of fork truck and pallet jack at all times. Stock shelves to correct locations in warehouse. Pick orders and return stock to appropriate locations, with attention to detail. Prepare orders for shipping. Maintain the warehouse, including sweeping floors, taking out trash and recycle materials. Assist “Will Call” and walk in customers. Assist Warehouse Staff with other duties as assigned. Must wear appropriate non-offensive clothing and demonstrate appropriate personal hygiene. JAM Industrial Supply is a Non-smoking building and a Drug Free Work Place. There is also no smoking in any JAM vehicle. Summary As a Distribution Warehouse Order Picker, you will be essential in ensuring efficient order fulfillment and inventory management within our warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your core responsibilities will include accurately picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to safety protocols. Your premium skills in time management and attention to detail will enhance productivity and minimize errors. Additionally, relevant skills such as familiarity with warehouse management systems and teamwork will contribute to a seamless operation.
