Industrial Ceramics Installer / Shipping & Receiving

The Position : We’re looking for an industrial ceramics installer with shipping and receiving responsibilities. · We offer a comprehensive health and dental plan. · We offer a contribution matching RRSP plan. · All work is done in a workshop in Edmonton. No site work or need for travel. Requirements: · We require a person who is meticulous and neat. · Due to the nature of the work, you must be able to lift 50lb, and be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend repetitively. · Good mathematical understanding and 3D spatial visualization is an asset. · Proficiency in operating a forklift is required. · Some experience with shipping and receiving. · Ability to work alone and without supervision. · Reasonable overtime work as required dependent on shop loading. Responsibilities: · Installing industrial ceramic tiles onto various pieces of equipment that will be used in the mining, sand and gravel, cement, power generation, materials handling and grain storage and transportation industries · The tile installation includes measuring of areas where the tile will be installed, cutting to shape of tiles, mixing of the adhesives and installation of the tiles. · Receiving of new pieces of equipment to be ceramic lined and packaging and shipping of pieces after lining installation. · Receiving and shipping of other products we provide to our customers The Location: · Moffatt Supply & Specialties is based in Edmonton, AB.
