This posting is specifically for contractors using: Cargo vans Sprinter-style or high-roof cargo vans Step vans Small cube trucks or small box trucks Passenger cars, hatchbacks, SUVs and minivans do not qualify for this opportunity. Each contractor business needs at least one approved commercial delivery vehicle. Businesses with multiple vehicles or qualified drivers are encouraged to apply and identify their additional capacity. Responsibilities Pick up, scan, organize, load and deliver assigned parcels. Complete deliveries within the applicable service window. Capture accurate delivery photographs and other required proof of delivery. Follow package-placement, customer-instruction and delivery-exception procedures. Maintain communication with NuBrite dispatch regarding route progress, delays, rescues, undeliverable packages and returns. Protect packages from theft, loss, damage, weather and contamination. Complete pre-route vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, secure cargo area. Report accidents, injuries, property damage, missing packages and safety incidents promptly. Return undelivered packages and required equipment according to established procedures. Business requirements Applicants must: Operate an established self-employed business, LLC or corporation. Have an active EIN. Maintain a business bank account in the contracting business’s name. Provide a completed W-9 before activation. Control at least one qualifying commercial delivery vehicle. Provide current vehicle registration and proof of appropriate insurance. Possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor-vehicle record. Meet applicable background-screening and client eligibility requirements. Have a smartphone with reliable data service. Be able to use delivery, scanning, navigation and proof-of-delivery applications. Be able to safely lift, load, transport and deliver parcels of varying sizes. Maintain responsibility for vehicle expenses, fuel, maintenance, insurance, taxes and business operating costs. Businesses using additional drivers must ensure those drivers are independently screened, credentialed and approved before they perform services. Compensation Compensation may be structured by route, package, stop or another written service rate depending on the assigned client and market.
