Independent Painting Subcontractor – Flexible Schedule | Interior & Exterior | Davis & Weber

About the Opportunity Lumos Painting Co is a professional residential and commercial painting company based in Layton, Utah. We have been in business for 7 years, our team has 20+ years of hands-on painting experience, and we consistently deliver high-quality work backed by a 3-year warranty. We are looking for skilled, independent painting subcontractors to take on projects throughout Davis County and Salt Lake County. This is not a traditional employment arrangement. We are not asking you to give up your independence or commit exclusively to us. We offer a straightforward partnership: we bring the jobs, coordinate the scheduling, and supply the paint — you bring the skill and your tools. What This Looks Like in Practice We schedule jobs in advance and reach out with available projects. You review the job details and decide whether to accept or decline — no pressure. You work the projects you choose, on a timeline that fits your schedule. You continue working your own jobs or with other contractors at the same time. We handle all client communication, sales, and project coordination. We supply all paint for every project (Sherwin Williams). There is no exclusivity requirement. If you already have your own book of work and want to pick up additional jobs when it suits you, this arrangement is designed for exactly that.
