Independent delivery driver
ConfidentialJob Summary As an Independent Delivery Driver, you’ll keep deliveries moving safely and reliably from pickup to drop-off. You’ll use your Cargo or Sprinter Van, follow planned routes, and provide helpful customer service at each stop. This role may involve warehouse operations, loading and unloading, and handling heavy items. Follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and traffic rules throughout each trip. This job is Monday-Saturday. Approximately 50-80 deliveries per day. Opportunities also available in Kennesaw. Duties Pick up, load, transport, and unload deliveries; secure items for safe travel. Drive assigned routes and use mobile devices to review delivery details and update status. Handle packages using safe lifting practices and workplace weight-handling procedures; use a pallet jack or other material-handling equipment when appropriate. Communicate courteously with customers and report delivery or vehicle issues promptly. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable route driving help customers receive their deliveries safely and on time. Experience Delivery driver, courier, van driver, or other delivery driving experience is helpful. Experience with commercial driving, commercial truck driving, box trucks, or personal-vehicle delivery is preferred. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, moving, manual handling, and load-and-unload work are useful. Ability to drive a manual-transmission vehicle is preferred; follow traffic regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to lift and move items safely; experience operating a pallet jack or other material-handling equipment is an asset. Pay: $1,600.00 - $2,100.00 per week Work Location: In person
