Independent Courier Contractor

Job Summary As an Independent Courier Contractor, you’ll pick up, transport, and deliver shipments safely and reliably picking up from Cache Valley Hospital, then pick up from Brigham City Hospital and deliver to Ogden Reginal Hospital. You’ll plan routes, handle goods with care, and communicate professionally with customers. This role will involve driving a personal vehicle. Applicants should be prepared for physical work, including loading and unloading items. Responsibilities Pick up, load, secure, transport, and unload shipments while following safe lifting practices and workplace weight-handling guidelines. Drive assigned routes, follow traffic regulations, and use mobile devices to receive delivery details and update shipment status. Provide courteous customer service and confirm deliveries according to instructions. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable deliveries help customers receive their shipments safely and on time. Skills Required: Valid driving qualifications appropriate to the vehicle used, safe driving habits, and the ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting. Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, route driving, van driver, personal vehicle delivery, commercial driving, or commercial truck driving experience; box truck experience is an asset. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, moving, load and unload duties, and material-handling equipment operation are helpful. Ability to follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations when applicable and communicate clearly with customers. Pay: $75.00 per day Benefits: Paid training Work Location: In person
